Coronado Beach

From our hotel we can see the North part of Coronado island, where the base is, so I was pleasantly surprised when we drove over there to find that beyond the base, Coronado is a lovely laid-back beach town, with some great little shops and restaurants and a huge beach that goes on for miles. They were doing some lifeguard training near where we sat, it looked like hard work running on that beautiful soft white sand!
