Traditions

For a long time our holidays together, Cal and I, were based around heritage railways - we've visited a fair few. He's an adult now so we're not spending hours in the car to get to another railway but we had a ride today. The Swanage Railway doesn't go far, it's shorter than K&ESR, but it has bigger engines. It also has Corfe Castle and that's a smashing sight. Otherwise, we've wandered around Swanage and eaten pasties and sat in the sun with tea and had a nice gentle day. The expected showers didn't arrive after the overnight deluge so we've had the weather too.
