Butterfly Bonanza
After a wet and dull spell, the sunshine returned today, warm enough for the butterflies apparently as there were more in the garden than I've seen before. Red Admirals and Small Whites plus one Small Copper. So it had to be a butterfly blip today!
This morning, having let the flooring man into the flat, it was Jamie's first RDA session of the autumn. He's always loved riding and is quite accomplished given his limited opportunities in recent years. An extra pic of rider, spectator and the beautiful location on a beautiful morning.
After lunch we met the Housing Association OT who was lovely and offered the option of an adapted kitchen with low level worktops. The planning and implementation will take a while but it's an unexpected bonus. Between this and work I managed to repot a few crocuses and after tea Meg and I ventured out into the gloaming. Quite dark by 8pm now and cool too. A nice walk nonetheless.
