In the kitchen…
The Community Lunch begins again tomorrow and about seventy folk are looking forward to coming back. It’s been muchly missed. Tonight we prepared the vegetables. The menu is a chicken dish followed by banoffee pie.
Dear Valerie was finally taken to the hospital by ambulance at 10.40 pm and given a bed in a room of her own at 3am. This evening she has been moved to a ward because her Covid test came back negative but that’s about it. No “urgent” MRI. No finding the source of her pain. Just medical people asking lots of questions and discussing pain management medication. We’re very disappointed. She is in pain and has been on her back all day yet she remains cheerful, even about the embarrassment of having to use a commode in a ward of five other patients.
Meanwhile Big Sis travelled to Yeovil as planned and she and Neil are doing well!
Thank you for all your support and concern for Valerie. Tomorrow is a new day and we trust for more investigation, information and treatment.
