Sea Walls Santa Cruz

Eighteen artists, seven days, one mission: to inspire the community to stand up for coastal resources. A group of artists is set to create a blitz of colorful murals around town with the unifying theme of raising awareness to protect the ocean. I had time to check out three of the 19 sites, but only one was active. This guy, Griffin One, was working by himself on his creation, "Food Chain." It's amazing to me that he could transfer his 8.5 x 11 design to this huge wall. I hope to get back and follow his progress, as well as to check out the other walls around town. It's quite an undertaking!
