Green Light

For going home.   
Left the motel just before 9:00 and we were home in Seattle in plenty of time for my noon book club zoom meeting.    Nice to see everyone but not as nice as it was planned to be in person,.   The summer Book by Tove Jansson...about a grandmother, son and granddaughter on a small island all summer.  Lots of thoughts about it.,  I need to figure out how to see the recent movie produced about Tove.  How have I missed her?

Hardly any photos today.   Thought I'd just use this going south across the border as a bookend for going North on August 9.   focused on the raindrops which didn't last long.   But... here there are NO CARS AND NO PEOPLE! Eerie.  2 lanes open.  1 for Nexus pass.   I don't know exactly why the US hasn't reciprocated with Canada and allowed fully vaccinated people in yet. 

Now it's back to a world of masks.
