Cardinals at St Peter's

Palm Sunday, new pope. If you're a photographer in Rome today, this is where you have to be, apparently, regardless of your religious views. It was quite a spectacle, and I had a front row view of the Cardinal Parade (or as one of my even more cynical colleague termed it, the pedophile parade. He claims the palm frond are there to cover the handcuffs.)

I won't say any more about that; but personally, I think that we heathens should appropriate their nice pink outfits for our own purposes.
