Oh Me, Oh My, Why?

Sunny and warm all day. We weren’t obligated to get up early but decided not to waste the day. I collected the laundered camping linens, etc and hubby took them and the camper back to my mother’s. Her birthday is a few days after we get back from WV and this year, she wants to host her own party. We talked about the plans, menu, guests and how my sister and I will go down and clean beforehand. After lunch, Hubby cut grass at church while I shopped for WV groceries and picked up six meds refills. Chase asked if I’d get him the ingredients so his Mom could make him a German dinner with spaetzle and pork with hunter’s schnitzel sauce. We can only find it at the Commissary on base. He is excited and devoted to his four years of learning German in high school. I sent it home with his Dad along with a German Language tutorial my sister found for him and a dictionary I had. While at the base pharmacy, I ran into the exchange which is in the same building. I had to share with you what I saw: a Christmas tree!! Unbelievable. Hubby was at home fighting with his Windows computers; actually, he’s still up there at 10:28 pm. I love my Mac. Later, I brought Parker over so we could study for his religion test on Acts 1 and 2. We enjoyed homemade pizza before hubby took him home. It was nice to be home to be able to help my grands. Thanks for visiting. “Remember when Christmas came after Thanksgiving? Those were the days, huh?” - Maxine (John Wagner)
