The home of the Goldfish Club ... and the Li-lo
It's another drab, cold day today. -1 degree according to my car thermometer though it feels colder.
So only a brief trip out: to a local Lebanese cafe for lunch then to Sainsbury's to stock up on a few essentials.
I took today's blip in the Sainsbury's store at Streatham Common. The store is a refurbished rubber factory which was the manufacturing site of PB Cow and Co.
PB Cow were big manufacturers of life saving equipment in World War II. They were also the developers of something many of us will have had direct contact with - the li-lo air bed.
