Foodbank was super busy today and it was the first time JP and I were solely in charge. All went smoothly though and we were all certainly kept on our toes!
This afternoon we did another first - we visited Bennett’s water garden. It’s only a couple of miles from home but somehow we just hadn’t got around to visiting. It’s a lovely place, built on an old brick clay quarry, filled with lovely ponds with so many different water lilies. In fact it’s the National Plant Collection of Water Lillies.- didn’t know there were that many varieties! It’s certainly a lovely spot and we will return!
