A Day At A Time.

Just In Time

The rain has continued to fall through the night and so we can all sigh with relief as the terrible fire on Estepona Mountain is finally out.

It was a Category 6 inferno - one which cannot be extinguished by conventional means - and Spain's worst ever blaze.

Climate change can be partly blamed for the severity of this wildfire, but the people who started it deliberately must bear the greatest responsibility for the disaster they have wrought on the area and the loss of life and injury, destruction of property and the ecological ramifications that will be felt here for a very long time.
