Interesting day…

The saga of my futu washing machine.
Among other shortages there are no washing machines to be had for love nor money. But my landlord managed to secure one last week and two lovely men turned up to fit it today. But it was the wrong washing machine! It was fee standing and an integrated was needed. Kirt knew that and as far as he knew that was what he had bought. Apparently the lady in the shop has rather lost the plot and had no real idea what it was. After much discussion it was decided to accept the freestanding since it was at least a washing machine. So they unpacked it and found it was damaged! 
More discussion and the fitters agreed to source a suitable machine and everyone left me in peace. A couple of hours later these guys indeed found the necessary sized integrated machine (let’s hope!?!). And in the very first shop that my landlord had tried. They are supposed to be fitting it tomorrow. Right, I’ll believe it when I put a load of washing in it…
I was out in the evening so thought I’d try out the low light capabilities of the iPhone and I have to say I was quite impressed.
