Roy

Whilst the Shots had lost all of their opening five games, 124 fans still travelled to Southend with hope in our hearts.  A brilliant performance saw us win 3-2, and gave a scoreline that flattered the home team.  Both of their goals were somewhat flukey, and had we won 3-0 it wouldn't have been undeserved.  Playoffs here we come!

This photo is of long time fan Roy.  Prior to Covid interrupting the last couple of seasons, Roy had only missed one game in the previous 41 years.  Whilst some would look admiringly at this dedication and commitment, others (very close to home) might think he needs to get a life.
