Cycling Home

…on autumnal streets. This is Neckar Street, continues as Heidelberg Street, which is logic because H. is situated on the N. (as most of you will know). Not all Darmstadtians consent that one of the vehicle lanes has been rearranged as a pure cycling lane. My opinion changes with the course of the year: in summer I’m on the cyclists’ side, in winter on the car drivers’ ;-)) - By the way: for those of you who take a look at the linked satellite map: there’s still a version offered, made before the remodelling of this street took place. And it’s still temporary (indicated by the yellow markings, in Germany only for temporary ones).
