A bit of sunshine today and the area is very busy again. We drove to Grasmere as I wanted a few things from the Co-op that the Ambleside store didn’t have. Drivers were queuing to get into car parks there and at White Moss. There was no roadside parking so we continued to Thirlmere where my OH spotted an ice cream van. While he enjoyed an ice cream cone (at an extortionate price) I took a few photos. 

We did find a parking spot in Grasmere on the way back  to do the shopping.
