The Greylag Goose and a Lapwing.
It was such beautiful day. Kate and I went to Staveley Nature Reserve near Knaresborough. There were several small lakes and a few bird hides. I like this photo is because it demonstrates the difference in size between these two birds. I had always imagined the Lapwings to be bigger birds. There were hundreds of Lapwings, at times flying around in murmurations - see my (last) extra photo.
