When the Boat Comes In

Unexpectedly after yesterday’s forecast we woke up to blue skies and sunshine. It took us a while to surface as it turns out today was a local holiday and the town celebrated last night until about 6am!
We enjoyed a long swim and a walk along the shoreline. I also used my new stripy beach chair (Brigitte) for the first time to sit and read.
The heavy rain that was forecast arrived mid afternoon as we were having our siesta. Once it had stopped, we headed down to the harbour to watch the fishermen bring in their catch. No holiday for them unfortunately.
