Secret garden

Work trip to see a damp old house in a huge, overgrown garden today. Could be really lovely once the new owners fix some things and make a few improvements.

One of my favourite things was their south-facing 'secret garden'. The previous owner apparently bought up this extra strip of land 25 years ago to thwart a neighbour's development plans and then left it to its own devices. It's hidden behind a high stone wall and the selling agents didn't even know about it! Nice bonus, apart from that bindweed!
