Just desserts

We're having an early Easter family meal today. This is the afters, with strawberries from Spain, which prove that at least somewhere in the world there is sun, and a Belgian chocolate cheesecake courtesy of Mr. Lidl, whose Deluxe range never fails. It had to be chocolate - it's nearly Easter after all, though looking outside it could be Christmas. Temperature hasn't gone above 2 degrees this afternoon, although thank goodness the biting wind has dropped a bit. I'm also very aware that many fellow Scots are much more affected by the weather than we are, so lots to be thankful for.

I think I deserve a small piece to acknowledge my previous efforts in the kitchen! Have a lovely Sunday!
