Interlaken

Had a fabulous ride out in the car with my new french friend Laury, to this gateway city to the Alps. Famous for its location and proximity to various ski resorts and in particular Grindelwald.

A very careful drive up winding steep roads arriving in an active ski resort (although end of season). Despite the cloudy foggy day we still had fabulous views of the mountains and the fresh clean air!

Return drive took us passed the large lake Thun ('toon') and quick stop tour around the town before back to Bern.
