The Biggest of the Big

I made a late decision last night to drive down to the Toledo (Ohio) Zoo today. Why? Because it was Senior Wednesday. Free parking, free admission, and even free coffee with a mini-muffin. WOO-HOO!

I've mentioned before on Blip that I have mixed feelings about zoos, but...I do like to photograph the animals.

Some animals affect me more than others. For instance, this young elephant looks like he is enjoying himself. But, look at the picture I put in the Extras. The mother ape and her son/daughter just look sad.

I took way too many pictures, and now it is 11:35 p.m. Night-night.
