As the sun replaced the rain

Another day sitting looking at the screen. Frustrated repeatedly as the connection was "unstable". Balanced when able to work with groups of clinicians to achieve progress for individuals and groups of patients.

During a break for lunch, I looked out the kitchen window to see that the persistent and at times very heavy rain was being driven away by the sun. The air was clear and everything looked so much brighter than usual. Lacking the motivation for a walk or run, my photo of the view from our window is the only photo I've taken today.

Only 13 new cases of Covid today. Only one not connected to known cases. The vaccination programme is proceeding apace. Our unit has not had an infectious case admitted or on the staff. Yet. Many of our inpatients have accepted vaccination when offered it. Unfortunately disinformation continues to spread.
