Sunflower Surprise

I spring cleaned the lounge today and moved furniture around in preparation for "new sofa day" tomorrow. Tom and I had an extended Ridge walk due to workmen installing a gas pipe along the Sands.

We all traveled separately to swimming due to location of work commitments. It was Ruth birthday, unfortunately the friend bringing the cake didn't make it due to a couple of breakdowns (not hers). Bassenthwaite was quiet, it was a beautiful swim. I got held up in Carlisle along Castle way for 20 minutes. They were just setting up road works for resurfacing.
More reports of positive COVID cases from work (staff). I'm so pleased I'm not in this week and that we traveled in different cars this evening.
