It started off misty and cold. As we walked up through the woods after the dogs had a great play on the beach, the sun came good. So much so we returned  to the cafe for a cuppa and Arran ice cream, a new favourite. 
The ever extending  birthday celebrations  continue with a lively meal at The Kirklands Hotel with the obligatory cocktail. The fundraising ground are all good friends,  but they needs to stop encouraging  me. I don't need it.
