A full day with a big church family funeral and the first time we've had a wake with a buffet in the church hall since COVID. It's interesting to note how draining it is socialising with a large number of people now ... and the noise! We're just not used to it. 

My evening meeting was cancelled so I was able to set off over the Pennines again this evening rather than tomorrow. I took this just as I left home.
