Lacock Abbey

A visit to the home of Henry Fox Talbot today, where he took the the very first photographic negative image of a window in his home. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the inside view due to staffing problems. This was a random shot from elsewhere in the Abbey. Apparently some scenes from Harry Potter were filmed in and around the Abbey and featured this cauldron.
