Friends

A people blip day today.

The main shot is Mrs. K. and her conservation Amazons. For several years now they have done work in
our local National Nature Reserve to help preserve a very special area of uncommon wild flowers. Here they are 
starting up again after a pandemic pause.
As new fences are to be built soon some of their work will be taken over by grazing cattle. But I am sure there will still be a role for them for as long 
as they want to volunteer.

My extra is a shot of friends who spent the afternoon with us.  For many years they have ridden their tandem thousands of miles
around Europe. Down the Danube and to the south of France plus several other trips. They have continued this through many years of retirement
but now have a little electrical assistance.

Their alternative to flying has been an important contribution to the fight against global warming.
