Managing the Light

Car parlks on Dartmoor were busy this morning, but hardly another person to be seen up on the open moors. The combination of cloud and sunny intervals, with the light very bright still at midday was not ideal for photography. My past attempts at  exposure bracketing on the moor have not met with much success, but I decided today to have another go. The subject here is quite mundane and fairly typical of much of the moor. The image was made from 5 shots at different exposures, taken in rapid succession and then merged using photographic software.
