Celebration time!

I went to my surgeon’s on my two-week post op visit. He also has the results of the in-depth analysis of what he took out (lung as well as lymph nodes ). The good news is that it was a stage 1 cancer, that hadn’t spread anywhere and will not require any additional form of treatment. Whew!

I’ll just be following a surveillance protocol for the next five years to make sure all remains good. What a relief!

The balloons were snuck into my house by a lovely neighbor while hubby and I went on a walk this afternooon. That was such a nice touch :)))
