The Last Drop.....

A morning spent hauling home wheat straw then shifted the combine up the track to the last field of barley . Wee brother attacked it after lunch while I baled some of the barley straw that we cut on Monday. I headed over next door to bale what was cut today. By 7.30 I had it all baled and wee brother had finished cutting , so that is harvest finished for 2021. Just 40 acres of straw to bale up when it is dry enough, all the grain to dry, store or sell and maybe some silage to cut and bale if the weather plays ball. And some clown on the radio announced that it was only 100 days to Christmas , just to cheer me up !
