Full beam ahead...
The washing machine beakdown is becoming close to being sorted.
Almost.
The documents for the maintenance contract are in my pile of unopened post which is waiting for me when I get home. The slight problem is that I am not the world's best post opener, and I had to transport said post in a large bin-bag up to Manchester last night. This means I have to spend the whole evening going through junk-mail and bank statements and mobile phone bills and electricity accounts and ...hopefully maintenance contract documents. I know I have not opened anything since I set up the contract, and I have found out today that that was in October! Thank God it was 2006 and not 2005.
Still, at least I pay all my bills by direct debit, and if anything had gone wrong, they would have contacted me ....by post , probably.....oops.
So what's with today's blip?
Well, the undergarment issue has moved from yellow to red alert, and to avoid going nuclear, it necessitated (I don't think that's how you spell it) a visit to the local department store to stock up on a few bits. This can be justified by the rather holey condition of the stock I have. I was sitting in the car-park, and noticed that car headlights are rather fascinating sculptural things nowadays, and that it would be a (good?) idea to blip some.
I decided to take the photo's from a little way away so that there would be no reflections of a twat with a camera, and cropped in close on the computer.
The result was quite pleasing for me, as I have always been fascinated how painters can do a picture that looks strange when close-up, but when you stand some way back it resolves into something awesome.
OK so it's a bit of a headlight and not in the same class, but the alternative was a blip of my new underpants.
And we wouldn't want that.
