Not ugly ducklings…

These ten ducklings came right up to us asking for attention and food, then when the food wasn’t forthcoming they took to the water one at a time. Mum was there too, keeping her eye on them all the time.

We’re in Surrey for a short break and travelled in beautiful sunshine, stopping at Shamley Green before reaching our destination.

Valerie is home. Wonderful news. She has to go back for more scans and a treatment review, new pain medication and tests but for now can be at home. This morning her son who is a physiotherapist at the hospital, was able to sneak in for a visit and took a photo with her looking good to share with us. With her permission of course. Again, I thank you for listening while I’ve shared here in my journal and for caring.

We’re going to try for a Zoom catch up early next week. For now we are very grateful for the good news of today.
