Cosmos

From a small packet of tiny seeds these plants have produced growth and flowers for weeks now. Today’s sun made them shine.

At one point, the blue skies saw 3 military helicopters fly overhead in formation and military vehicles were seen on local streets. No idea what was going on!

This evening we had curry and conversation at our church. We welcomed postgraduate students at New College. There they train up Ministers for the Church. They were invited for a meal - which came from the Mosque Kitchen - and an opportunity to say hello. For some they had been in Edinburgh for just a few days for the first time. There were people from Japan, India, Canada, England, Austria. There was an offer too, if they wished, to be linked up with a household to provide local knowledge and support.

Some other local churches were also present. It was an event enjoyed by all.
