Later that day...

...we (Mom, Dave and I) drove to Ballard, an area in north Seattle. Got some fish & chips and took lunch to the beach at Golden Gardens park, where we ate with this view over Puget Sound to the Olympic Mountains. I know it's a view tookie has blipped before! Saw a seal, several sailboats and swimmers and a couple big container barges. 

Thanks for your nice visits to yesterday/today's post. We're taking off for Westport tomorrow. Traffic's heavy around Seattle and Tacoma, so we'll see how many hours the trip takes. I won't have an internet connection so will try to post by phone for the next few days, though my BlipFoto app's been crashing lately on my old iPhone.
