The cottage in the woods

I spent an extended lunch with a friend at her cottage in the woods. It is a tiny place, but beautifully cosy and it suits her perfectly. We sat and put the world to rights whilst eating delicious homemade soup, bread and honey. 

As we discussed the state of the Earth and how we hope to make it better than before, Bean made the most of the woodburner and whiled away the afternoon dreaming sweet dreams of chasing rabbits. (Extra)

It was the perfect way to spend a cool, damp spring afternoon.
