Day-trippers

A sunny Sunday afternoon, Dad and I decided to go to nearby Ortakoy for a stroll and early dinner at House Café. By the water's edge, with a Sunday crafts street market and an abundance of cafes and restaurants, Ortakoy is a popular destination where local day trippers flock to see and be seen.

Unfortunately, a side effect of the picturesque is that the whole area tends to become both a pedestrian and automobile gridlock, but our meal was very nice and the sky was very blue.
