Looking over Grasmere

Snow appeared overnight leaving a white landscape. Not that much came down, just enough to cover the ground.

Went for a walk with Paul, Tash and baby Luka. The ATV buggy though good did struggle at points on the paths, partly due to us taking the wrong path at one point. We'd planned to walk from Grasmere to Ambleside and back, but only made it as far as Rydal before heading back - which did mean a good warming lunch at the tea room at Rydal Hall :-)

This was taken from the upper path above Grasmere. I liked the red of the died-back bracken in the foreground.
