Walking through the cows

A wonderful day despite the drizzle. A few hours out and about with P spotting two seals, an otter, one grouse running up the road, a family of stonechat and a grey wagtail as well as a pied. John dug out a little gas cooker to heat the soup which tasted fine in the rain. We called in to see a friend who has a gallery in the middle of nowhere, the door was unlocked but no response to ringing the bell. Home to visitors popping in with a surprise and lively chat as always.
