Day 4 - Herriot Way - Reeth to Aysgarth

Mileage - approx. 10 miles

Our last leg of the 4 day Herriot Way walk. And we moved from Swaledale back into Wensleydale. We had a welcome stop in the tea room at Bolton Castle for coffee and cake.

Our last visit was Aysgarth Falls which we visited at the start. There still wasn't much water to speak of. 

Our final meal of the week was in Askrigg in The Kings's Arms. And again another great meal.

It's been my second long distance walk and I'm sure I'll do another one at some point in the future. But where to go? I did struggle with the heat over the last few days but you can't always plan for perfect walking weather. It could have been raining for 4 days!
