Kereru

We arrived at Lake Tarawera late yesterday afternoon to grey skies , a bitterly cold wind and 10 degrees Celsius.
This morning the skies are almost cloudless(9 degrees and no wind), the sun shining with gold and this beautiful New Zealand native wood pigeon is snoozing while it soaks up the sun , just a couple of metres from our window. All’s right with his world!
