One of those days
that has erythronium.
Sorry autocorrect fail. One of those days that has everything.
Relaxed start. Then a decent walk to Heather Farm where we had vegan brunch. Very very good. Lovely weather too. Then walked in to town so that TGR could get a SIM card and some other bits.
Coffee in the bookshop. A family walked by and a little girl of about five announced that she wanted to be a vet when grew up. "Could be worse" said the mum "her sister wants to be a triceratops".
Lovely afternoon lazing in the garden, reading, drinking tea. In the evening Strider came up from Canterbury and the five of us went to our local and had a superb meal; so nice to all be around one table again.
For the record:
Erythronium, the fawn lily, trout lily, dog's-tooth violet or adder's tongue, is a genus of Eurasian and North American plants in the lily family, most closely related to tulips.
