Early London light

It’s been a tough week and not much chance to blip. Today I went into London on the 6am train - very early - for a breakfast networking meeting. I
almost pulled out but I didn’t want to let the organiser down. I had time to walk to the venue and the light over the river was lovely. The meeting was good - lots of others had pulled out at the last minute so I was glad I’d made the effort. I made some new contacts and discovered a great new place for food. I dashed home on the train doing some work /making a few calls to get back to meet a landscaper who was coming to price up for a new patio at home. We’ve found it hard to find the right people. This seems promising. Finger crossed.

An afternoon of teams calls and I was ready to switch off by 5! Tonight I met some old colleagues from my last job for dinner so we had a good natter and catch up. Definitely a more positive end to the week.
