Above Watendlath

Headed off on my own for a longer walk today. I started out in Rosthwaite and made my way up to Watendlath Tarn. From there I made my way up to Dock Tarn, dropping down through to woods to Sonethwaite before heading back to the car.

The fell side up from Watendlath to Great Crag is quite steep and today was covered in snow - for me not a great combination. A few moments of forcing myself to go on overcoming my 'height head'. Once of these moments of sorting my head out I looked back and saw this view. Having both Watendlath Tarn and the clouds over Skiddaw was about as good as the lakes gets.
