Water

Now that so much is polluted and/or so many are going through a drought, it is a nice thing to always have fresh water out for the animals. I think they appreciate it every bit as much as the seed. It can be in any container that is not toxic, but should be consistent and fresh. It is amazing how many critters come to the various small watering holes we set up. In the day time, birds and lizards and squirrels are normal visitors and in the evening, the frogs and other nocturnal animals imbibe.
