Lemons and limes

A weekend spent in Hertfordshire seeing an assortment of friends.

Kicking off the weekend with Andy's old work friends Jules and her fiance, Barney, we stayed in St Alban's on Friday. We headed from there to Harpenden on Saturday to have lunch and watch the 6 nations rugby with Isla and Jules (my uni friends) plus respective husbands Will and Ben, plus the Ackroyd children, Ollie and Josh. Lots of eating and drinking involved.

Dinner at the Lawthers consisted of bubbles, lasagne, red wine, chocolate, shots of coffee drunk from espresso cups, and watching the countdown of best movie soundtrack songs, plus a fair bit of movie trivia (sponsored by Wikipedia) thrown in.

This shot is taken of a lovely dish that Isla bought in South Africa a few years ago. Whenever I visit her, whether in Putney or in Herts, it's always filled with fresh citrus fruit. I would be worried if I didn't see the dish with lemons/limes when I go to see her!
