First loaf

Daughter has been inspired by (a) her dad, and (b) Paul Hollywood, to make a loaf of bread from scratch.

There are no breadmaking machines in her halls of residence, so it was back to basics - a floured surface and a whole bunch of elbow grease.

It might have been beginner's luck, but the ensuing bloomer was perfect. A great party trick to take back to Uni - she'll have no shortage of friends queuing up for a thick slice of freshly made warm bread. Especially the morning after a hard night's clubbing.
