Rowing

As part of The Club membership I decided to join Abu Dhabi Rowing Club. I turned up apprehensive early this morning. It’s been 30 years since I was last in a rowing boat, where I used to row bow for RGIT college (now University). The last time I tried sculling (two blades), I got stuck under the Torry bridge on the River Dee in Aberdeen. 
However the very calm and warm Gulf water made it an enjoyable experience. It was very humid, even at the pool after with a well deserved sausage and egg buttie.
