Pulteney Bridge

Today's highlight was lunch at The Ivy which is always a lovely treat, but even more so during the week when they have a very reasonably priced lunch time menu, and they gave us both dessert 'on the house' decorated for our anniversary.

This afternoon we walked along the Kennet and Avon Canal and then climbed up to the Bath Skyline Walk so we could take in the city views before dropping back down into the centre of Bath.  We looked for somewhere to sit and have a drink in the sun but everywhere was pretty much shaded by this point, so we decided to head back to the Airbnb for a drink, as we have a little courtyard.

My Blip today is of Pulteney Bridge which reminds me of the Rialto Bridge in Venice. - there are shops and bars all along the bridge on both sides and you wouldn't actually think you were walking over a bridge when you're on it.
