Late summer colour

This sedum always comes up trumps.

Lively morning at the charity shop followed by a healthy lunch to make up for the excesses of yesterday.

Bought some pretty glass dessert dishes from the shop and I will be donating the plainer ones I have already to them next week.  Working on the ethos that if something new comes in, something older must go out!

In other welcome news, No2 son checked my new broken down mower when I was out yesterday.  He found it had just blown the fuse in the plug.  He replaced the fuse (remembered where I kept them!) and cut the grass to test it out.  Result!
