Needs a bit of TLC

Mmm I think this gate could do with a new coat of paint….maybe next week. When we moved into this house, there was no front garden and cars were parked outside the sitting room window on concrete. We needed some railings, so asked a guy who had a unit in the antique centre if he had some. Sadly no, but he would look out for some. A month later he turned up in his Volvo estate, with his wheel arches nearly on the floor under the weight of four lengths of railings and two gates!! Did we want them? Yes please. We found a builder who was able to build a wall around the different sizes of railings and install the gate. Of course it has been painted over the years, but I think it’s time to scrape it down and start again.
